Great service. Wonderful vibe! Started with the Empoderado: shrimp, octopus and scallop cocktail. Nicely seasoned and balanced! Tried the marinated ribs and quesadillas. Enjoyed it! Marinade is strong. Finally had the mole chicken enchiladas. Oh my! Wow! A must. So tasty. I will return for them everyday! Cocktails? Amazing selection and done beautifully. Refreshing and more.

This is the 3rd time I go to La Frida; the first one was with my co-workers, once I got home I told my wife: "Im taking you there for sure". Yesterday was my 3rd. My sister in law visited us from Canada and we decided to take her there for dinner. This time Maribel was our waiter, OMG! she was amazing! Super friendly, polite, professional, kind. I don´t have enough words to describe her. She made our night magical. Thank you Maribel! Thank you Claudia (owner)! You guys ROCK! If you want to impress someone with REAL mexican food, just go to LA FRIDA.

Everything was sooo good. The food, the flavors, the atmosphere, the staff, the drinks - chef's kiss. All though the place is on the smaller side and we had a very large party, they were so good to us to accommodate. So patient and honestly one of the best services we've ever had with such a large group of people. We will all be back to enjoy more. Well done! Highly recommend!

Wow! My mom went here a few weeks ago with her girlfriends and said I need to go. I never made it, but our Friday dinner crew went and it was amazing. The decor was very nice without being too much. The place is a bit small so often there is a wait to get in. But the wait is so worth it. The staff was so friendly and inviting. We got there between shift changes so our original waitress introduced the one who would be taking over. They both were great. They explained the different menu options well. I opted for the Las rebeldes (Tuna tostadas). It was so beautiful (see photo), but the taste was even better. The tuna and avocados were so fresh. I don't know what the sauce was but it was a perfect complement. It had a bit of a tang but not enough to distract from the tuna or avocados. The rest of the table different things but everyone was raving on their selections. I will have to go back again and again.

My husband and I love this restaurant! The service is very good, the food is very delicious but one of the reasons why we always go is the mochomos and we are very disappointing because we can no longer eat them and they are delicious, we hope they put them back on the menu!!

Another great meal at La Fridas! We showed up around 5:30p on Thursday and had a 30 min wait for our group of four. Parking is pretty limited in their small lot. One option is to park across the street and walk over. We ordered a number of different dishes... ribs, enchiladas, tacos... and all the food was plated beautifully and delicious. The mole is outstanding! Our server was friendly and helped give recommendations. Most of our group got the house margaritas and they loved them. The decor is fun, but the lights flickered in a way that was a little distracting. But overall an outstanding higher end Mexican restaurant.

New favorite place in town! Came here for breakfast on a weekday and was so excited to try something new. Any place that can incorporate shrimp into a brunch/breakfast dish is good in my book. They managed to make a delicious dish with staying power. I wasn't hungry again until dinner time! Service was stellar, and the place was packed on a weekday. I can't wait to try out their lunch/dinner menus! I had the shrimp casuela? I think that is what it was called - and I can still remember the joy it brought me as I think about it in this moment. Mmm so delicious!

One of our favorite restaurants on the east side of town - it's become our go to for special occasions and to bring out of town guests; the food and drinks are creatively made - not just beautiful plated but delicious too! Our favorites for food are: - Chicharrón steak (appetizer): flavorful beef on top of guacamole - nice balance of saltiness with the freshness and acidity of the avocado and lime - Elote (appetizer): fried corn slices with cotija cheese; good option if you're looking for something lighter as a starter - Las Tradicionales: chicken flautas served on a bed of the freshest salsa verde and guacamole - my favorite entree to get because it's on the lighter side but still flavorful - Las Condenadas: great entree for the meat lover; the short ribs are well-marinated and comes with grilled bulb onions and quesadillas - Mocktails: Mango Passion (if you're in the mood for some caffeine, made with green tea) and Fresh Fizz (for something bubbly) Other things that we've tried that have been good - Las Magdalenas (on the heavier side of entrees, but good if you like mole!), Las Rebeldes (solid for seafood dish but the other dishes are so much better), and Camarón Volcán (coconut shrimp style on a bed of rice). They just started serving brunch as well which we tried this past weekend. The Elote pancakes and Los Llorones were delicious, but I think dinner is still our favorite. Highly recommend if you are looking for delicious Mexican food on the east side - it's easily become one of our favorites!
